Managing your orders on Osdire is designed to be straightforward, secure, and transparent. This guide explains how you can track progress, review deliveries, and stay protected throughout your project.
Finding Your Orders
After placing an order, you can view and manage everything from your order dashboard:
Go to Orders → Active to track ongoing projects.
Visit Completed to review finished collaborations or download deliverables.
Tip: Our mobile app (in development) will make it even easier to stay updated and message freelancers on the go.
Understanding Order Statuses
Status | Meaning |
Waiting to start | You’ve placed the order, funds are held securely in escrow, and the requirement is needed from you for the freelancer to start the order. |
In progress | Work has started and you can find all updates on your order, message the freelancer, and review the delivery when it is ready. |
Review delivery | The freelancer has submitted the completed work. You should review and either accept or request revisions. |
Completed | You’ve approved the delivery and funds are released to the freelancer. |
Cancelled | The order was stopped (by you, the freelancer, or support) and funds refunded or adjusted according to policy. |
Knowing each status helps you act quickly and keep your project on track.
Reviewing Work, Requesting Revisions & Accepting Delivery
When a freelancer delivers work:
Open the delivery and compare it with your original project scope — quality, deliverables, and timeline.
If satisfied, click Accept Delivery to release payment from escrow.
If changes are needed, select Request Revision and clearly explain what must be improved.
Note: It is good practice to agree on several check points for an order, when the freelancer provides updates regarding the process.
Once all revisions are complete and approved, the order automatically moves to Completed status.
Communicating & Sharing Files
All communication and file sharing should remain within Osdire.
This ensures:
Transparent project records.
Access for Osdire support to assist fairly in case of disputes.
Secure and traceable file management.
All order-related messages and files should happen on order detail page, for quicker reference and effective dispute settlement. Messages before order was placed can be moved to the order page.
Cancellations & Refunds
If something isn’t going as expected:
Contact the freelancer first through the order page to discuss and clarify.
If you cannot resolve it, turn to our resolution centre to raise a formal dispute, with a limited time for the freelancer to address the issue.
If the problem is still not solved, contact our support team.
Our team will review the full communication and delivery records to determine a fair outcome.
Funds may be refunded partially or fully, depending on project progress and situation.
